In order to explore new Avenues of Energy Resources in view of rapid deplition of conventional sources of Energy Govt. of Pakistan established a Board namely Alternative Energy Development Board to encourage the establishment of Power Production / Generation in non-conventional field like Wind.

Govt. of Sindh has been approached to allocate required piece of land in the corridor through GOP/AEDB. The construction for the project shall start once all the formalities including land acquisition are amicably addressed.

Keeping the same in mind a sister company of AL-Tariq namely Makwind Power (Pvt.) Ltd. has been established a couple of years back to setup a Wind Power Generation project in Dhabeji- Keti Bunder corridor which envisaged the Installation of Wind Turbines having a commutative Generation Capacity of 50 MW.
